Someone say music is dead? Old Mine Universe just shot that statement down in flames! I don’t know how this is a debut album, it’s ridiculously accomplished in every way, an astounding feat of talent. This is hard rock, with respectful nods to past legends, touched with expansive desert rock, throughout remaining intelligent, thoughtful, contemplative, upbeat. Guitar solos, remember them? I can hear Slash & Kirk Hammett. But every member is smashing it out of the park here. Turn up that volume!
